Diy: Eid gift from Baby !

Assalam aleykoum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,I start all post apologising if my English is not perfect but I’m French living in UK for a year and a half.

Today it’s about gift you can make yourself !

We just finished Dady’s Eid gift from baby (7 months) not perfect BUT HANDMADE and feetmade (hahahha) With Love

I think its easier With a younger baby as mine is very active and it Was really hard To have The Hand ! (Not even complete)

(Feet were easier)

What you need:

  • 4 small square canvas (or one long)
  • Paint (for Children)
  • Wipes & water to clean your baby straight away !

Try on paper first 😁

For the feet I gave her a toy she was playing laying down so it was easy to paint her feet and press them in V shape (not perfectly but I am quite happy).

Enjoy Eid with your family!

I post when my baby is asleep and I finished my chores, so be patient it’s sunnah ❤️

Fi amanilah!

About Dolls

Assalam aleykoum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,I start all post apologising if my English is not perfect but I’m French living in UK for a year and a half.

Today i am talking about Dolls.

Every girl like To play With Dolls, pretending To be a mum, learn thought game and identification.

Thats why I bought Aamina.

I think you all heard about this doll, read some reviews or saw some videos.

Bi-lingual Arabic/English 16″ soft plush doll that speaks( teaching Islamic greetings, surra el Fatiha with translations)  and sings in English (Islamic rhymes about Allah~ subhanahu wa ta’ala, prophet Muhammad ~salallahu alayhi wasalam, salat, 5 pillars of Islam…) with Interactive hands, feet and nose (sneeze and say “al hamdulillah”).

Ages 3+

My daughter has 7 months. I used it since birth, pressing for her, repeating everything and singing the songs along with the doll. It makes her smile, al hamdulilah.

I start to read to her aswell since birth.

Although now it a little bit hard as she always want to eat the books !

What I like about this doll: very educative, child can learn the meaning and when to use words like Al hamdulilah, in sha Allah, fi amanilah , subhan Allah. They learn what to say before reading and the first sura.

What I don’t like about this doll:  I think that she is wearing a little too much make up for a doll. Why dolls always wear make up, aren’t we pretty without it ?

I aswell started dolls makeover and I think I will continue, because I want her to be able to identify herself as a Muslim while playing with dolls.

And I think it’s good that some Muslims women started making hijabi dolls as we only had one doll option in western countries. Blonde with short clothes.

Children learn about everything by playing. So I will definitely create accessories for her dolls, even the blonde’s if my family will gift her one.

I just ordered this one (I love eyes shut’s dolls) and the rabbit ears are easy to grab for a baby.

And blue with white dots cotton fabric to make her a legging and her name initial on the top.

I remember when I was a child I always wondered why my blonde doll didn’t have any underwear… Funny thoughts… But as I had to wear them why she didn’t ?

I post when my baby is asleep and I finished my chores, so be patient it’s sunnah ❤️

Princess series inspired by the Asma ul Husna- the 99 names of Allah

    Assalam aleykoum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,
I start all post apologising if my English is not perfect but I’m French living in UK for a year and a half.

Today I’m going to talk about books I bought for my daughter.

Even if these books are for age 3-6 I already started to read them to my daughter since  she is born.

Maybe because I like to read and I hope she will too and also because my English is not that good and I want to read in English so we both will learn more vocabulary.

As I presume she will like princesses (well I like them !) I found this collection of princesses stories.

    It’s a collection of 8 books. We have 6.

It’s not that I didn’t find all of them but I chose not to buy 2 of them : One is about a circus (and I don’t like circus because of the way animals are treated to learn some tricks so I kind of boycott it), and the second one about a spider … And I am arachnophobiac …

    Astaghfirullah

Each book start with Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim (in the name of Allah the most beneficient the most merciful) and finish with Alhamdulillah Rabbil Aalameen (praise to Allah the Lord of all the worlds).

Each book tells a story about a Princesse whom name is inspired from Asma Ul Husna and each princess show us a Muslim value.

Al-Nur ~ The light = Princesse Noura who cares for the environment (plants & animals)…

Ar-Rasheed ~ The guide = Princess Rasheeda who is very smart and likes To read and learn…

Al-Karim~ The Generous = Princess Karima who helps people in need…

Al-Aziz~ The Mighty = Princess Aziza a nice person who cares a lot about her family…

Al-Shahid~ The witness = Princess Shahida , very curious who wants to know about the world…

Al-Haleem~ The forebearing = Princess Haleema who is very loving and caring…

What I like about these books ?

First we are learning about Allah’s names and their meanings (they should definitely edit 99 books !), second these Princesses are actively doing things for the ummah.

In occidental princesses stories the princes do all the hard work ! In these Princesses are not waiting for someone to change their life, they do their part ! And I like it ! This is what life is about! Our own good deeds ! Because in theses books it’s all about it !

I think it’s good for my daughter to hear stories about Princesses who do Good deeds for the others, hope it will encourage her to do the same ! I will always encourage her to do it anyway 😊

    Where to buy these books

At the back of each book there is the name of this website but I found mine on eBay.

    Why this blog?

    Assalam aleykoum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

I start all post apologising if my English is not perfect but I’m French living in UK for a year and a half.

    Why this blog?

Well, I remember a conversation with a friend of mine born Muslim who told me (when I showed her some books or toys I bought for my daughter), that she will do like me when she will have children because even if she is born Muslim she didn’t learn the meaning of the surras nor duas. (Just when she has to say what).

Because as I am converted I learn the meanings aswell and I am going to explain the meaning of each duas I know.

The good thing is I am going to learn with my children aswell and this is the greatest adventure!

So I thought about all my converted sisters and maybe it’s a good idea to share with them about all my discoveries!

And you can share with me aswell, in comments! In sha Allah
